Austin Spurs Announce 2016 Returning Players and Training Camp

AUSTIN, TX (Oct. 29, 2016) - The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, today announced the names of eight returning, affiliate and local tryout players headed to training camp prior to the start of the 2016-17 NBA D-League season. The list includes Jarell Eddie and Demetri McCamey, who are both returning players from the 2015-16 season, along with recent San Antonio Spurs training camp participants Ryan Arcidiacano, Pato Garino, and Livio Jean-Charles. Austin will select additional prospects during the 2016 NBA D-League draft this Sunday, Oct. 30. Training camp is scheduled to begin Wednesday, Nov. 2 at the San Antonio Spurs practice facility.

Fans can join head coach Ken McDonald and staff, along with Da Bull and the Capital City Dancers, for the 2016 NBA D-League Draft this Sunday, Oct. 30 at Main Event Austin (13301 US 183). The Austin Spurs have the 18th pick. The free draft party is open to the public and begins at noon.
