
Austin Forces Decisive Game 3 with 91-83 Victory over Los Angeles

CEDAR PARK, Texas - Youssou Ndoye contributed a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, and teammates Deshaun Thomas and Brandon Fields posted 20 points each as the Austin Spurs defeated the Los Angeles D-Fenders 91-83 Monday night at Cedar Park Center.
Game 2 was suspended with 6:15 to play in the third quarter due to condensation on the floor rendering the court unplayable. The game was resumed on Monday night from the point of interruption with Austin leading Los Angeles 58-53.
Vander Blue paced Los Angeles with 24 points and teammate Justin Harper contributed 22 points.
In the first quarter, Los Angeles took an early 9-4 lead at the nine-minute mark, but Austin used a 15-3 run over the next five minutes to take the lead, 23-13. At the end of the first, Austin was up 31-16.
Los Angeles outscored Austin 27-18 in the second quarter, cutting Austin's lead to as little as three with three minutes remaining in the half. Harper led Los Angeles with 13 points in the half, while Thomas paced Austin with 10 points. Austin was up 49-43 at the half.
Austin resumed play strong on Monday, going on a 14-2 run to take a 72-56 lead with 30 seconds remaining in the third quarter. They led 73-63 at the end of the third, paced by Fields' nine points.
Los Angeles fought back in the fourth quarter, outscoring Austin 22-19, but Austin went a 10-1 run with six minutes remaining to seal the victory, 91-83.
