
Atlanta Hawks Assign Patterson and Tavares to NBA Development League

ATLANTA, GA - The Atlanta Hawks Basketball Club has assigned guard/forward Lamar Patterson and center Edy Tavares to the Austin Spurs of the NBA Development League, pursuant to the flexible assignment rule, it was announced today by President of Basketball Operations/Head Coach Mike Budenholzer.
In three games with Austin this season, Patterson has averaged 15.3 points, 7.3 assists, 7.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals.
In seven total D-League contests with Austin and Canton, Tavares is averaging 9.3 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.9 blocks in 22.7 mpg (.618 FG%, .821 FT%), recording two double-doubles.
