EUGENE, Ore. -- Jhonny Bethencourt doubled twice and singled, and Jesus Camargo allowed just four hits over six innings as the Eugene Emeralds beat the Everett AquaSox 5-3 on Sunday.

Yapson Gomez allowed a run, but got Austin Grebeck to fly out with a runner on first to end the game for his first save of the season.

Camargo (2-1) allowed two runs while striking out eight to get the win.

Down 1-0, the Emeralds took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. Jared Young and Bethencourt hit RBI doubles en route to the two-run lead.

The Emeralds later tacked on two runs in the fourth when Aramis Ademan hit an RBI triple and then scored on a single by Gustavo Polanco to secure the victory.

Everett saw its comeback attempt come up short after Chris Torres scored on a ground out in the sixth inning and Troy Dixon hit an RBI single in the ninth to cut the Eugene lead to 5-3.

Ryne Inman (2-4) went four innings, allowing five runs and nine hits in the Northwest League game. He also struck out three and walked one.
