Goaltender Jhonas Enroth stopped 35 of 36 shots and Mark Mancari tallied a goal and an assist as Portland edged Wilkes-Barre/Scranton by a 2-1 count on Tuesday... Elsewhere, Chris Porter's unassisted third-period goal stood up to be the game-winner as Peoria took a 4-3 decision from Texas; Pascal Pelletier, Brett Sonne and Nicholas Drazenovic also scored for the Rivermen.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Tied for first place in the Atlantic Division with 74 points apiece, Portland and Worcester do battle on Wednesday at the DCU Center... The teams have met six times on the season, with each side coming away with three victories... Portland brings a 13-game points streak (12-0-0-1) into town and is 6-0-1-1 in its last eight road tilts since a 4-3 loss at Binghamton on Jan. 8... The Pirates' Tyler Ennis leads all AHL rookies with 55 points (18-37-55) in 57 games, while Worcester's Logan Couture (18-27-45) and Benn Ferriero (18-22-40) rank second and third, respectively... Ennis shows nine points (2-7-9) in his last six games and has a team-high 10 points (2-8-10) in six clashes with Worcester this year... Mark Mancari has 6-3-9 in six games against the Sharks... Dan DaSilva has a point in four straight games (4-3-7) for the Sharks, and Ferriero has found the scoresheet in 10 of his last 13 contests (8-7-15)... Sharks rookie netminder Alex Stalock (31-13-1) leads the AHL in wins, while Pirates counterpart Jhonas Enroth (26-14-1) ranks second... Enroth is riding a personal 11-game winning streak (1.89,.935).
Looking for a season-high fourth straight win, Toronto visits provincial rival and North Division-leading Hamilton on Wednesday... The Marlies also won three straight games from Oct. 30 to Nov. 6 and from Nov. 22-27 but dropped their next game on both occasions... Toronto is coming off a 2-0 win over Manitoba on Saturday in which goaltender James Reimer pitched a 31-save shutout... Kyle Calder shows a seven-game scoring streak (4-4-8) for the Marlies, and Tim Brent has recorded 13 points (6-7-13) in 14 games since returning to Toronto's lineup from injury... Marlies rookie Viktor Stalberg has three goals and five points in four games against Hamilton this season... Hamilton boasts the AHL's fourth-ranked offesne (3.26 goals per game) and its top-ranked defense (2.24)... Bulldogs goaltender Cedrick Desjardins (21-7-2) leads the AHL in goals-against average (1.96) and places second with six shutouts... Tom Pyatt has recorded 14 points (5-9-14) in his last seven games for Hamilton, and Brock Trotter shows 11 points (6-5-11) in his last seven outings... David Desharnais has registered a point in 14 of his last 15 games (5-18-23) for the Bulldogs.
Coming off a thrilling 2-1 win over Binghamton in Saturday's Mirabito Outdoor Classic, Syracuse heads to Glens Falls on Wednesday for a meeting with division rival Adirondack... The Crunch are 8-3-0-0 in their last 11 road games and have taken three of four from the Phantoms this season, but Syracuse suffered a 5-0 loss on Nov. 1 in its only previous trip to the Glens Falls Civic Center... Michael Blunden has a point in four straight games (2-5-7) for the Crunch after recording two points (1-1-2) in his previous 11 games combined... Defenseman David Liffiton is also on a four-game scoring streak (2-2-4), and Alexandre Picard shows 11 points (6-5-11) in his last 11 contests for Syracuse... Adriondack has combined for just one goal in its last two games - both losses - after totaling nine goals in a pair of victories prior to that... 2010 AHL All-Star Jon Matsumoto paces the Phantoms with 45 points (20-25-45) in 57 games, while Stefan Legein shows a team-high 21 goals (21-5-26) in 55 outings... David Laliberte has registered five points (1-4-5) in his last four games for the Phantoms.
