Macon Knights News Release
MACON, Ga. - The Macon Knights 2006 schedule was released today by the League office of arenafootball2. The Knights will kickoff the season Saturday, April 8th by hosting the Albany Conquest.
The Knights will face fellow American Conference foe the Albany Conquest in their first game of the 2006 campaign. The Knights trail in the overall series to Albany 2-1, but the one victory against the Conquest came in the 2003 postseason to help boost the Knights to the ArenaCup.
The Knights will also be looking forward to week three when the Florida Firecats, the Knights biggest rival come to town. The Knights will be looking to avenge their two close losses last season to the Firecats. The 2006 Season also has a new look with three new expansion teams and the return of the Tennessee Valley Vipers. The af2 will also see its first game played in the state of Washington.
