Saltdogs Roll out New Logos for 15th Season

LINCOLN -- To celebrate their decade-and-a-half as a franchise, the Saltdogs are unveiling a 15th anniversary logo, along with a new cap logo for 2015.
The 15th anniversary logo features the traditional Saltdogs "Dog Head," and includes the organization's longstanding motto: 15 Seasons of Fun & Games.
Eight stars run along the curve of the 5, representing the eight playoff appearances for the Saltdogs since their inaugural campaign in 2001.
"It's hard to believe we're already in the 15th season of Saltdogs baseball," team President/GM Charlie Meyer said. "We wouldn't be here without the loyal support of our great fans and the corporate community."
Lincoln's game caps for 2015 will don a refreshed, more aggressive, head-on look of the traditional "Dog Head," with a primarily navy and Vegas gold color scheme.
The team will wear three varieties of the new cap: red; blue and white; red and blue.
The traditional Dog Head logo that fans have come to know and love will remain as the club's primary logo.

The reigning Central Division champions and league runners-up open up the 2015 seaon May 22 at Kansas City. The defending Central Division champions begin regular-season play at Haymarket Park May 25 against Gary.
