PEARL, MS -- RHP Juan Jaime has been activated from the disabled list in Lynchburg and transferred to Double-A Mississippi. RHP Ryan Woolley has been reassigned to High-A Lynchburg from Double-A Mississippi.
Jaime, 25, began the season on the disabled list with High-A Lynchburg. He signed with the Atlanta Braves as a free agent on August 19, 2011, and spent the entire 2012 season with the Hillcats where he went 1-3 with a 3.16 ERA in 42 appearances. The MiLB.com Organization All-Star struck out 73 batters in 51.1 innings and converted 18 of 18 save opportunities. Jaime missed the 2010 and 2011 seasons after having Tommy John surgery in April 2010.
Woolley, 25, has bounced between High-A Lynchburg and Double-A Mississippi throughout the season. With the Hillcats, Woolley is 0-1 with a 3.60 ERA in seven games. In three outings with the M-Braves, Woolley has a 12.27 ERA. He worked a scoreless inning in the M-Braves 5-4 victory over the Biscuits Saturday night. Woolley signed with the Braves in late March after being released by the Tigers during Spring Training.
The Mississippi roster has 25 active players and 5 disabled.
