TRENTON, N.J. - The Toronto Blue Jays have recalled pitcher Chad Jenkins to the active major league roster. Jenkins, who was tonight's scheduled starter against the Trenton Thunder, will join the team in Boston as they Blue Jays continue a weekend series with the Boston Red Sox.

Jenkins was slated to make his second start of the season for the Fisher Cats tonight, just five days after making his season debut on Monday. In 32.0 innings with the big club, he allowed 16 earned runs (4.50 ERA) on 32 hits, 16 strikeouts, and 11 walks.
