Lee to Gwinnett, Woolley to Mississippi

PEARL, MS -- RHP Michael Lee has been promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett from Double-A Mississippi. In corresponding moves, RHP Ryan Woolley has been promoted to Double-A Mississippi from High-A Lynchburg.

Lee, 26, was 3-1 with a 3.42 ERA in seven outings with the M-Braves. Lee made two spot starts for Mississippi, going 1-1 with a 2.79 ERA in those starts including a five-inning shortened complete game shutout on May 1. Lee was signed by the Braves as a minor league free agent on July 11, 2012.

Woolley, 25, has spent time with High-A Lynchburg and Double-A Mississippi this season. With the Hillcats, Woolley is 0-1 with a 3.60 ERA in seven games. He made two appearances with the M-Braves, giving up five earned runs on seven hits and a walk in 2.2 innings before moving back to Lynchburg. Woolley was selected in the 13th round of the 2011 draft by Detroit and spent two seasons in the Tigers farm system. After his Spring Training release, he signed with the Braves in late March.

The Mississippi roster has 25 active players and 5 disabled.
