BOISE, ID, - YOUR Boise Hawks and Drug Free Idaho will kick the summer off with the 10th Annual Fan Fest Celebration! The fun happens Friday, May 10 at Memorial Stadium; 5600 N. Glenwood St. Boise, Idaho 83714.
YOUR Boise Hawks and Drug Free Idaho are hosting an evening of family fun to promote substance abuse prevention, education and safety. The FREE event begins at 5:30PM and concludes at 9PM.
"This remains one of the signature events of the Boise Hawks year" commented President/General Manager, Todd Rahr. "Fan Fest is the unofficial start to the season and we open up the Memorial Stadium gates to thousands of fans who are looking for family friendly entertainment with a positive message from Drug Free Idaho."
The event features Raffles, Kid's Carnival, Batting Practice, Fire/Emergency Vehicle Tours, Race Cars, Inflatables, Humphrey the Hawk, Interactive/Educational Booths from the library, YMCA and more with dollar concessions to benefit HawksNation Charity. The Hawks began Northwest League play as an independent club from 1987-89. The team was affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from 1990-2000 and have been with the Chicago Cubs since 2001.
