Kitchener Rangers Head Coach and General Manager Steve Spott announced today that the team has signed Michael Davies, the team's first round pick in the 2013 Priority Selection to an Ontario Hockey League contract.
Listed at 6-foot-1 and 201 pounds, Davies recorded 73 points in 61 games playing for the Southern Tier Admirals in 2012-13. The Thorold, ON native is described by Rangers scouts as an elite scorer with high end skill, good size and strong hockey sense.
