8th Annual Beach Bums FanFest Coming up on Saturday

TRAVERSE CITY, MI - The Traverse City Beach Bums will open Wuerfel Park for the first time in 2013 as the Beach Bums 8th annual FanFest will take place on Saturday, April 27, starting at 8:00 am.
FanFest is the first opportunity for Traverse City fans to purchase individual game tickets for the 2013 season. There will be a one-day only offer of buy 10 tickets, get five free.
The home opener is May 21 at 7:05 pm against the Evansville Otters. TC will play 54 home games this year.
Additionally, Beach Bums players and coaches will be available for autographs. High school baseball will be played during the day as TC St. Francis, Elk Rapids, Muskegon Reeths-Puffer, and Benzie Central will be taking to the field at Wuerfel Park beginning at 10:00 am. All concessions and the gift shop will be open.
Traverse City will also be hosting a job fair for game-day employees at FanFest including positions as concession workers and ushers.
The Beach Bums are the defending East Division Regular Season Champions and are coming off a 64-32 record in 2012, the third most single-season wins in Frontier League history. The team was honored with seven post-season league awards including FL MVP (Jose Vargas), Manager of the Year (Gregg Langbehn) and Frontier League Organization of the Year.
