Tri-City Storm News Release

Dear Storm fans,

I write to you today to thank you for your tremendous support this season and to share my thoughts on the 2012-13 season. We have two consistent goals each year in making the playoffs and being a provider of quality entertainment. Qualifying for the playoffs and competing for a Clark Cup is something that we desire for you, our dedicated fanbase.

Things did not turn out the way we envisioned. Storm fans deserve better for the unwavering support you've given us over the years. I am proud of our fans, athletes, coaches and staff who put forth maximum effort throughout the year. We are committed to winning hockey games.

While we might not have accomplished the results we wanted in the win column, our organization did amass a number of successes off the ice:

- 11 Storm players will play college hockey next season at a variety of prestigious universities such as Yale, Dartmouth, Denver and the United States Air Force Academy.

- Over the past four seasons, we have seen a 29% increase in overall attendance, including an increase this season. Season ticket holder renewals remained strong from 2011-12 to 2012-13.

- The Storm continued to have a strong presence in the community with over 60 player/mascot appearances throughout central Nebraska. This was significantly higher than past seasons.

- Our charitable efforts to organizations like the United Way through programs like Jerseys for a Cause have increased. The Storm donated more than $40,000 to the community this season.

- Storm players visited with more than 3,000 area school students and helped several organizations raise funds for various causes in our community.

The Storm will continue to play a role in this community through a variety of philanthropic experiences. It's something this organization is very proud and thankful to be a part of.

We have already started addressing our team needs and are actively making changes that will hopefully give us the results that we all expect.

Thanks so much for your continued loyalty. Please consider joining us at the Viaero Event Center on May 7 for the USHL Draft.

Sincerely,

Greg Shea, President
