HARRISON, NJ (April 19, 2013) - The New York Red Bulls will take on the New England Revolution Saturday night at Red Bull Arena at 7:00 PM ET (TV: MSG+ - Full Broadcast Transmission Information Below; Radio: ESPN Deportes Radio Nueva York 1050 AM). Tickets for the match are available now by calling 1.877.RBSOCCER or logging onto www.newyorkredbulls.com.
The Red Bulls will also honor the victims who were affected by the events surrounding Monday's Boston Marathon through the following means:
- The club will donate its total net revenues from merchandise sales from Saturday's match to The One Fund Boston (OneFundBoston.org).
- Leading up to the match, the club's South Ward supporters - Empire Supporters Club, Garden State Ultras and Viking Army SC - will be marching into Red Bull Arena alongside the New England Revolution supporters, displaying the banner that they used during Wednesday's match against Sporting Kansas City.
- The MLS Anthem, heard in stadiums throughout the league as players enter the pitch, will be replaced this Saturday by The Standells' "Dirty Water," a song that has a direct tie to Boston sports.
- Red Bulls players will wear black armbands to honor the Boston Marathon victims.
- The Red Bull Arena Color Guard will fly the Boston flag as part of the match procession. There will also be a Moment of Reflection prior to the National Anthem.
The Red Bulls (2-4-2, 8 points) are currently in a fifth place tie and are coming off a 1-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday after defeating D.C. United, 2-0, on the road last Saturday. Eighth place New England's (1-2-2, 5 points) last match was last Saturday - a 0-0 tie at Seattle Sounders FC.
