Normal, IL - The Normal CornBelters, presented by Illinois Corn Farmers, are partnering with Miller Brewing Co. and Ra-Jac Distributing Co. for the 2013 season and beyond. The new partnership is highlighted by the addition of a "Leinenkugel Lodge" and "Miller Lite Lounge" at The Corn Crib! The CornBelters will play their first regular season home game of the 2013 season at the ballpark on Tuesday, May 21 at 7 p.m. versus the Windy City Thunderbolts (CEFCU Opening Night).
"We're extremely excited to be partnering with Miller Brewing Co. and Ra-Jac Distributing Co.," said CornBelters General Manager, Kyle Kreger. "This partnership will definitely improve the fan experience at the ballpark. We've made a lot of new announcements already this off-season, and we're still not done yet... There's never been a better time to be a CornBelters fan!"
The "Leinenkugel Lodge" will be located on the first-base side of the concourse behind section 102, and it will be available to all fans 21 and older. The "Miller Lite Lounge" will be located in luxury suite #211 (formerly the "President's Suite"), and it will be available to all corporate partners, full season ticket holders and host families 21 and older. Both new additions can be previewed by the media on Thursday, April 25 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (a formal invitation is attached). That same day, corporate partners, full season ticket holders and host families will be able to preview the additions from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Some of the Miller Brewing Co. products to be offered at the ballpark this season include: Miller Lite, Miller High Life, Third Shift, Redd's Apple Ale, Leinenkugel Summer Shandy, Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat, Leinenkugel Canoe Paddler and Leinenkugel Berry Weiss. Plus, all nine "Miller Thirst Quenching Thursdays" will feature $1 Miller High Life drafts!
"We're very happy to be partnering with the Normal CornBelters within the Bloomington-Normal community," said Ra-Jac Distributing Co. General Manager, Kevin Goodwin.
