BOISE, ID, - YOUR Boise Hawks will be hosting an MLB Pitch, Hit and Run contest Friday April 26 at Memorial Stadium with registration beginning at 5:30PM. Pitch, Hit and Run is a FREE, one-day event for boys and girls ages seven to fourteen.
Boys and girls will compete separately with the opportunity to compete at four levels of competition including Locals, Sectionals, Team Championships and the National Finals at the MLB All-Star Game. All-Around, Pitching, Hitting and Running Champions advance from each age and gender group to the next level.

The Hawks began Northwest League play as an independent club from 1987-89. The team was affiliated with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from 1990-2000 and have been with the Chicago Cubs since 2001.
