
Tiger-Cats Add Trio to Receiving Corps

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today the signing of non-import receiver Jay Diston as well as import receivers Shay Hodge and Ouslet Volcy.
Diston, a native of Niagara Falls, Ontario, has spent time on the Tiger-Cats practice roster over the last two seasons while suiting up for the CJFL's Burlington Braves.
Hodge finished his NCAA career at Mississippi with the most receiving yards in school history (2,646) while ranking second in receptions (173), receiving touchdowns (22) and 100-yard receiving games (8). After turning pro, the former first-team All-SEC receiver spent time with the NFL's San Francisco 49ers, Washington Redskins and Cincinnati Bengals as well as Arena Football League stints with the Georgia Force and Kansas City Command.
Volcy was an NJCAA All-American in his senior season at ASA College in 2012 after catching 33 passes for 666 yards and nine touchdowns.
