Dunedin Blue Jays News Release
DUNEDIN, FL - Florida Auto Exchange Stadium will be packed with characters from all over the state as Dunedin celebrates the birthday of its beloved mascot, D-Jay on Saturday April 6th. Mascot night marks the first "Junior Jays" Saturday of the season, as the Dunedin Blue Jays will play host to the Clearwater Threshers in the third matchup of a four-game series.
Look for D-Jay and some of his closest mascot pals from the Tampa Bay Lighting, Clearwater Threshers, Lakeland Flying Tigers, University of Tampa Spartans, USF Bulls, Sea Dog Brewing Company, Celebration Station, Jet's Pizza and Frenchy's.
In addition to the baseball game, the night will feature plenty of activities for kids including a mascot meet and greet autograph session. D-Jay and his buddies will participate in mascot races, a tug-of-war contest and other fun promotions taking place throughout the game. As always, every Saturday is a Junior Jays Saturday and all kids age 12 and under get to run the bases after the game.
