Bakersfield Jam News Release

Frisco, TEXAS -- The Texas Legends (19-25) gave up a large lead in the third only to fight back for an even larger victory over the top-ranked Bakersfield Jam (30-13).

The Legends posted a collaborative effort on both offense and defense to smother the Jam in a full-court victory. While only five players tallied double-digits, all active Legends⠀šÂ¬ €žÂ¢ players scored. On the opposite end, the Legends held four Bakersfield players scoreless and out-rebounded the Jam 60-45. The Legends took an early lead in the first and only turned the advantage over twice, with the largest Bakersfield lead being 1 point.

Texas went up by 11 at the end of the first and held the same margin going into halftime. The third quarter presented a difficult challenge with the Jam outscoring the Legends 29-18. With this Bakersfield run, the fourth quarter started with a tied board, but the Legends quickly posted a 15-6 burst to take possession of the final quarter and the ultimate 99-88 victory.
