Bathurst came out fast in the first period. Zdrahal put the home team on the board first at 5:24.

Lalancette got credit for a goal as the centering pass deflected off his skate and past Fournier to make it 2-0 Titan at 12:29.

The Titan kept up the offence for the whole first period, outshooting the Dogs 22-10.

Villemaire put home his 10th of the year with a wrist shot to make it 2-1 just 1:15 into the second in the period's only score. Noah Zilbert and Stephen Anderson grabbed the assists on the play.

The Sea Dogs turned things up a notch in the second, coming back in shots outshooting the Titan 16-12 in the frame. Saint John was still trailing in shots overall, 33-26.

Beaudry brought the Titan lead back to two just 58 seconds into the final frame.

Zdrahal put home his own rebound for his second goal of the game at 3:20.

Fournier was beaten twice in the third period, yet had 20 saves in the frame, including a great glove save to rob Zdrahal of the hat-trick goal in the final minutes of the game.

Saint John returns for the final two home games on Wednesday at 7 versus the PEI Rocket and Friday at 7:30 against the Titan for Fan Appreciation Night. Tickets for the two remaining games are available by calling 657-1234, visiting the Harbour Station box office or by heading to tickets.harbourstation.ca.
