Montgomery Biscuits News Release
Both the University of Alabama and Auburn University will make their presence felt at the fifth annual MAX Capital City Classic, to take place this Tuesday, March 5 at Riverwalk Stadium. From the time gates open at 5:30 pm, downtown Montgomery will come alive as "The Rivalry Continues..."
Cheerleaders from both schools will return with energetic in-game performances on the field. Plus, both school mascots - Alabama's Big Al and Auburn's Aubie - will be on hand to rally the fans in the stands and help cheer their teams to victory. And finally, the Alabama and Auburn bands return to Riverwalk Stadium as we continue the tradition of the Fight Song Sing-Off!
But that's not all. This year, we're introducing the MAX Capital City Classic vs. Cancer initiative to combat childhood cancer, with proceeds benefitting the Vs. Cancer Foundation and the Children's Hospital of Alabama. Players and coaches from both teams will shave their heads on the field in a pre-game ceremony to show support for this great cause. Show your support, also - click on the button below to make a donation to the Vs. Cancer Foundation and purchase your tickets to this year's MAX Capital City Classic TODAY!
Don't miss out on top-notch entertainment from both Alabama and Auburn!
