Pacific Association Announces 2013 Season ScheduleFebruary 6, 2013 - North American League (NAL) San Rafael Pacifics
The inaugural season of the Pacific Association will open in Arizona as part of the League's inter-league play against the Freedom Professional Baseball League, with the first-year Vallejo Admirals and Pacifics playing the four Arizona-based teams, while the Maui Na Koa Ikaika and Hilo Stars play two teams from Japan's professional Baseball Challenger League.
The Pacifics host Vallejo in their home opener on June 11, 2013 at Albert Park. San Rafael will play 42 home games this season, and will feature a number of inter-league visitors in addition to their Pacific Association rivals. Along with the four Freedom League teams, the Pacifics will be playing teams from Santa Rosa and East Bay.
"Our home schedule promises to be exciting in a number of ways," said Pacifics President and General Manager Mike Shapiro. "With the new seating options at the ballpark, and the excitement of adding inter-league opponents, this season will provide our fans with even more fun at Albert Park, all summer long."
The Pacifics also announced the release of their 2013 season ticket plans, which offer a variety of options and benefits. Full season plans are available for every seating section at the ballpark, including: the newly created Dugout Club (allowing fans to sit alongside the players), Budweiser Field Boxes, Grandstand Reserve, and General Admission Grandstands. The new "Williamson's Living Room", where fans can enjoy the game from recliner chairs and couches, will be sold on a game-by-game basis.
The Pacifics will offer a number of benefits that will be included in select season ticket plans Those season ticket holders who purchase Dugout Club, Budweiser Field Boxes, or Grandstand Reserve plans will automatically be entered into the "Pacifics MVP Club." Perks include: selecting your own seat, working out with the Pacifics during spring training at the "Bradley Real Estate Pacifics Fantasy Camp," as well as an invitation to the "Pacifics Opening Night MINI of Marin Ball" that will be held on June 10, 2013.
A new ticket plan in 2013 is the Pacifics "Flex Plan," which allows fans to buy certificates that are redeemable for any home game, in any section, during the 2013 season. "Flex Plans" save fans $1.00 per ticket off the regular day-of-game price.
Season ticket plans are on sale now, and are available for purchase by going to pacificsbaseball.com. The Pacifics will open the season on the road in Arizona, and return home to face the Vallejo Admirals at Albert Park on June 11 at 7:30 PM.
