The movie Groundhog Day, starring Bill Murray, hit the big screens in 1993, and 20 years later the Fighting Saints will honor the classic film with a night full of entertainment themed from the movie. In the film, Murray's character, Phil Connors, is a weatherman set to cover the annual Groundhog Day festivities. The character finds himself in a time loop, as this same day keeps repeating over and over again. Much like the film, repeating events will be a theme for the evening Friday night. On the ice, the first-place Fighting Saints hope to repeat the scoring over and over, and in the stands, various activities at the arena will play out over and over again as well.

Friday is College Night, and the Fighting Saints are offering a ticket special for all students with a valid college I.D. Fans can receive an End ticket plus $5 in Saints Bucks, good for concessions and merchandise, for only $10. Students will also have a chance to enter a contest to shoot for up to $1,000 towards books for the spring semester.
