HOUSTON, TX (Thursday, January 3, 2013) -- The Houston Dynamo today announced that the Houston office of PwC US will donate $27,750 to Ronald McDonald House (RMH) Houston through Dynamo Charities. Throughout the 2012 season, PwC contributed $750 for each Dynamo home game goal - 37 in all - and the donation will be used to make improvements to their school.

"All season long, PwC Houston has been cheering on the Houston Dynamo, and we're thrilled they scored so many goals during their home games," said Niloufar Molavi, managing partner of PwC's Greater Houston market. "We recognize the importance of partnering with community figures, such as the Houston Dynamo, and charitable organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House Houston, in order to provide necessary resources to area families, especially as we approach the holidays. We want to congratulate the Houston Dynamo for an awesome season!"

The RMH Houston will be restricting the $27,750 gift for use for the school room in 2012/2013. They are planning to use some of the proceeds immediately to pay for the necessary new computers needed for the school room and will commit the other monies for the remodel of the school room in 2013, which will include purchasing new furniture and up-to-date equipment.

"The success of this program surpassed our wildest expectations - thanks in part not only to the Dynamo's unstoppable season, but also to PwC's generosity," said Lori Ginsburg, director of Dynamo Charities and community relations. "The accomplishments of all parties are an example of what can be achieved when members of the community come together. We look forward to seeing the effects of this donation on area families as we all seek to provide a brighter future for the Houston community."
