
Jets Captain Conor Lemirande on loan to the USHL's Muskegon Lumberjacks

Conor Lemirande, the Janesville Jets team captain, will be on loan to the United States Hockey League's (USHL) Muskegon Lumberjacks this weekend. Lemirande will definitely play tonight as the Lumberjacks are on the road Friday, December 28th verses the Dubuque Fighting Saints. He may also play for the Lumberjacks when they take on the Green Bay Gamblers Saturday, December 29th.
Lemirande, a forward and Janesville hometown hockey star, is the Jets fourth leading scorer this season with 11 points (6 goals and 5 assists). He is second on the Jets squad with a plus/minus rating of +4.

Two other Janesville Jets players will be on loan to other USHL squads this weekend.
Forward Jason Ford, the Jets leading scorer with 20 points (11 goals and 9 assists) in 32 games played, will be competing against Lemirande on Friday night as a member of the Dubuque Fighting Saints. Ford will be on the road for the Fighting Saints as they take on the Chicago Steel Saturday night. Ford already has played 3 games this season for Dubuque. The former Team Wisconsin standout from Waunakee, Ford has accepted a scholarship offer to play hockey and attend school at Bemidji State University in Minnesota, anticipated for the 2015-16 school year.
Defenseman Ryan Gotelaere will be playing for the Waterloo Black Hawks this weekend. He already has played two games this season for Waterloo. Gotelaere has played in 21 games for the Jets this season and has 4 assists and leads the team with a plus/minus rating of +11.
"This is a great opportunity for our players to be exposed to the next level of Junior Hockey," s tated Jets Head Coach Joe Dibble. "It is also a chance for our players to be watched by the scouts in a different atmosphere at a different level. I am very confident all three of these players can play at that level and at the Division 1 level. All three will be playing in very important games for these teams. We are very excited for them and wish them the best of luck this weekend."
Lemirande, Ford and Gotelaere will all be back playing for the Janesville Jets in Port Huron next Monday and Tuesday. The Jets next games are on the road versus the Port Huron Fighting Falcons on a New Year's Eve, Monday, December 31st game at 7 PM EST and then have a New Year's Day matinee game in Port Huron at 1:30 PM EST.
The Jets next play at home versus the Jamestown Ironmen on Friday, January 4th and Saturday, January 5th. Both games start at 7 PM CST with the box office and doors opening at 5:45 PM.
