K-Wings and Jr. K-Wings Lending a Helping Hand

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL, in conjunction with the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings, a proud member of NAHL, announce members of both teams will be working as Toy Shoppers at the Salvation Army "Toy Shop" this Wednesday, December 19th and Thursday, December 20th.

The toy shop helps families who need help with Christmas gifts. Families who qualify are allowed to hand-pick gifts for children 16 and younger, as provided through the Angel Tree Toy Drive.

Toy Shoppers are individuals that will assist the qualified families in selecting gifts for boys and girls during this holiday season. The toy shop is locationed at The Salvation Army's Kalamazoo location at 1700 South Burdick Street.

The Jr. K-Wings will be assisting tomorrow, Wednesday, December 19th from 9 a.m.-noon. Representing the J-Wings will be Mikhail Bushinski, Mark Esshaki, Christian George, Nick Kovalchik, Cole Pierce and Alex Okicki.

On Thursday, December 20th, Dustin Cloutier, Joe Charlebois, Mike Matczak, Adam Polasek, Nick Sirota and Harry Young will represent the K-Wings from 1-4 p.m.

Last Saturday, fans helped the K-Wings donate 1,000 bears to the Salvation Army during the team's 13th Annual Teddy Bear Toss Game.
