Colorado Eagles News Release
LOVELAND, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles announced today that Chad Costello & Jack Combs -- the ECHL's top two scorers -- have accepted professional tryout offers (PTOs) from the American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The two will join the Sound Tigers immediately.
"With the current shorthanded status of our team, the timing of this offer from Bridgeport and the players' decisions to accept it are less than ideal," said Eagles Head Coach & General Manager Chris Stewart. "However, we are always supportive of our players advancing their careers, and as always, we will move forward with the best interest of our organization -- both short and long term -- in mind. We have a commitment to do so for our fans, our corporate partners and our team as a whole."
