Austin Toros Activate JaMychal Green

Austin, TX December 18, 2012 - The Austin Toros today announced that forward JaMychal Green (6-8, 228 Alabama) has been activated, effective immediately. Green will wear jersey number 32 for his first game of the season as the Toros face off against the Texas Legends in a matinee game today.
Green competed at the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament in 2012 and the World University Games in 2011. He played college basketball at Alabama where he averaged 13.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.7 blocks over his four year career. His honors include being named Coaches First Team All-SEC in 2011, Coaches Second Team All-SEC in 2012, SEC All-Freshman Team in 2009 and Old Spice Classic All-Tournament Team in 2010. Green played in the McDonalds All-American game and the Jordan Classic his senior year of high school and was named Alabama's Mr. Basketball in 2008.
