
Palazzese Named OHL Goaltender of the Month

The Ontario Hockey League announced Wednesday that Kitchener Rangers netminder Franky Palazzese was named the Vaughn Goaltender of the Month for November.
The Mississauga, ON-native posted a perfect 5-0-0-0 record and secured his first career OHL shutout on November 23 when he made 23 saves in a home victory over the Sarnia Sting. The 19-year-old stopped 135 shots in November, allowing six goals in five starts. His goals-against-average for the month was 1.18 and he posted a save percentage of .957.
Palazzese has a 6-2-1-2 record in his second season with the Rangers and holds the league's best goals-against-average and save percentage with marks of 1.87 and .939 respectively.
