Saskatoon Blades News Release

The Saskatoon Blades are back at home this week and will be playing the Spokane Chiefs tomorrow night at the Credit Union Centre!

The Blades will entertain their foes from the south on the team's first Raincheck Night of the season! Season Ticket Holders can redeem unused season seats from previous games during the Raincheck Night. Every ticket exchanged has a cost of $2, with all proceeds going towards the Blades Education Scholarship Fund.

The Blades enter the game playing arguably their best hockey of the season. The team is coming off a split weekend set in Alberta which included a solid 4-0 shutout win in Calgary against the Hitmen.

Overall, the Blades have won 6 of their past 10 games and have climbed their way into a spot where they now have the 3rd highest point total in the East Division.

Along with that, the Blades are also starting to get healthy again. Shane McColgan returned to action this past weekend and players like Dalton Thrower and Brett Stovin are close to coming back from injury.

Along with that good news comes the fact that the Blades have a ton of other great promotions on the horizon!
