KAMLOOPS, BC - The good news is that the Vancouver Giants scored a goal. The bad news is they lost 2-1 in Kamloops to the Blazers.
The win gets Kamloops back on track after 2 straight losses, and keeps them one point up on Portland for first overall in the WHL.
The Giants have now lost 4 in a row.
Colin Smith scored both goals for the Blazers, JC Lipon had 2 assists.
Carter Popoff scored for the Giants, his 3rd, to make it 2-1 in the 3rd.
The Giants had chances but could not score to tie it. The goal ended a goaless streak of over 155 minutes.
Payton Lee had another solid night in net stopping 29 of 31 shots.
