Rockford IceHogs News Release
Rockford, Ill. - With Halloween fast approaching, the Rockford IceHogs are getting in the spirit by hosting trick-or-treating on the BMO Harris Bank Center ice with IceHogs players following their game against San Antonio on Sunday.
The IceHogs welcome the Rampage into the building for the second time in three days and the puck hits the ice at 5:05 p.m. The first 2,500 fans to the game will get an IceHogs picture frame magnet schedule courtesy of T6 Broadband.
Make sure to come dressed in your best Halloween attire as the team will be holding a costume contest for adults and kids. Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants in both categories.
Fans are invited to bring their skates to the game to participate in a postgame skate out on the ice. IceHogs players will be joining in the skate to pass out candy to kids in costume. A table will be set up on the main concourse with a few players passing out candy to those without skates. The candy is compliments of Nestle, and Applebee's will be providing bags for kids to store the candy, along with a voucher for a free kid's meal at the restaurant.
Only people with skates on will be allowed onto the BMO Harris Bank Center ice. Parents are invited to join in the fun too and skate with their kids.
For tickets to the game, or any IceHogs game, visit IceHogs.com or any Ticketmaster outlet. Tickets are also available by stopping by the BMO Harris Bank Center box office anytime Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or calling (815) 968-5222.
