Championship Celebration Wednesday Night

(Central Islip, N.Y., Oct. 9, 2012) - The Long Island Ducks are the 2012 Atlantic League Champions! Come celebrate this historic achievement while getting up close and personal with the trophy and fellow Ducks fans on Wednesday, October 10 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the YMCA Boulton Center in Bay Shore. The event, which will be first-come first-serve, is free of charge.

Gates will open at 6:30 p.m., with the program set to begin at 7:00. Ducks Founder and CEO Frank Boulton, President and General Manager Michael Pfaff, Co-owner and Bench Coach Buddy Harrelson, Manager Kevin Baez and Infielder Ray Navarrete will be on hand to field questions first from emcees David Weiss and Michael Polak and then from fans. Video highlights from the Ducks' Championship run will also accompany the program.

Following the question and answer session, the celebration will continue in the VIP Room where fans will be able take pictures with the 2012 Atlantic League Championship trophy and receive autographs from Buddy Harrelson and Kevin Baez. In addition, Official Locker Room T-Shirts, the same ones worn by the Ducks during their clubhouse celebration, will be available for fans to purchase before they go on sale to the public. All merchandise purchases must be made with either cash or check made out to the Long Island Ducks.
