Cameron Brace scored twice as the Owen Sound Attack spoiled Windsor's 2012-2013 home opener with a 6-1 victory over the Spitfires on Thursday night.
Michael Clarke had the lone goal for Windsor (0-1-0-0), busting up Jordan Binnington's shutout bid with just three minutes to play.
Gemel Smith had a goal and two assists and Daniel Catenacci had a goal and an assist for the Attack (1-0-0-0). Kyle Hope and Jake Dotchin each chipped in a pair of helpers.
Jaroslav Pavelka stopped 29 shots before being replaced by Jordan DeKort, after Brace made it 5-0 at the 5:05 mark of the third period. Binnington was outstanding in goal for Owen Sound, stopping all but one of the 34 shots sent his way.
