HOUSTON, TX (Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2012) - The Houston Dynamo announced today a partnership agreement with West Houston Soccer Club to provide professional youth soccer training programs.

As part of the relationship, the Dynamo will provide West Houston Soccer Club with ongoing player development support, including player clinics, coach education workshops and team training. In addition, West Houston Soccer Club will be a venue for the Houston Dynamo Center of Excellence, a supplementary training program open to competitive players age 7-12.

The program provides the local soccer club with a unique opportunity to partner with a Major League Soccer team, and benefit from an extensive range of youth soccer expertise. Professional Dynamo trainers will be on hand to work with players and implement an age-and-ability-specific curriculum.

"We are looking forward to our partnership and the opportunity to develop players in the local community," Dynamo soccer programs manager Adrian Moses said. "As a leader in youth soccer, it is important that we play an active role in the development of future soccer generations."

The partnership will also help connect young players to the professional game. As part of the curriculum, players are encouraged to watch soccer games and Center of Excellence players have the opportunity to attend a Dynamo match at BBVA Compass Stadium.
