Phantoms Announce Downtown 'Phantom Phest' for Opening Weekend

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Youngstown Phantoms will sponsor postgame festivities for the Opening Weekend of the 2012-13 season, the club announced today. After the team's opening games on Friday, Sept. 28 and Saturday, Sept. 29, fans are encouraged to stick around and celebrate downtown Youngstown's revival at the first ever Phantom Phest.

Fans in attendance for either of the games will receive coupon booklets filled with exclusive food and beverage specials from downtown's top restaurants and bars. And to top things off, the Phantoms will light up the Youngstown skyline after Saturday's game with a vibrant fireworks show, courtesy of Phantom Fireworks.

"The downtown Youngstown entertainment scene has made incredible strides in recent years, and the Phantoms are proud to have played a role in that transformation," said Phantoms owner and CEO Bruce J. Zoldan. "We are all invested in this city and community. Phantom Phest is a one-of-a-kind way to show your support for the many unique restaurants and bars throughout our great city, and have a great time doing it."

All coupons and food and drink specials are only available for fans that attend Phantoms Opening Weekend games either Friday, Sept. 28 vs. the Omaha Lancers or Saturday, Sept. 29 vs. the Des Moines Buccaneers.
