Jam to Hold Open Mascot Tryouts

BAKERSFIELD, September 12, 2012 - The Bakersfield Jam today announced that they will hold open auditions for the team's mascot "Swish" on Saturday, October 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the Dignity Health Event Center.
The team is seeking a talented person with a passion of entertaining an audience and interacting with fans and children. Candidates must be available for all Jam home games and all community events throughout the 2012-13 season. The Jam's mascot, Swish, will be unveiled in late October.
Anyone 18 years or older are eligible to tryout and should submit a completed registration form no later than Friday, October 5. There is no cost to audition and registration forms are available online at BakersfieldJam.com.

The Bakersfield Jam open the 2012-13 season on the road against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Friday November 23 at 5:00 p.m. PT. The Jam home opener comes a week later on Thursday, November 29 when they host the Idaho Stampede at 7:00 p.m. PT.
