Blanchard, Pye Cut from Mooseheads Training Camp Roster
August 27, 2012 - Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) Halifax Mooseheads
Halifax Mooseheads General Manager Cam Russell announced this morning that Brandon Pye and Joel Blanchard have been cut which reduces the training camp roster to 27.Marty Frk and Zach Fucale will also join the Mooseheads on the ice this morning for practice. Fucale has returned from an extended stay granted by the team after winning Under 18 Gold with Team Canada. Frk is skating for the first time since undergoing a minor scope on his knee.
The Mooseheads next pre-season home game is Sunday, September 9th at 4pm when they host the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at the Halifax Forum.
