35th Sellout of the Season on Mini Bat Giveaway Night

The 35th sellout of the season enjoyed a perfect Friday night for baseball at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium. It was a Fan Appreciation Friday, which meant the first 2,000 fans through the gates received a mini bat courtesy of United Rentals. The Blue Wahoos presented the Untied Way Flood Relief Fund with a check of $3,380 in a ceremony prior to the game.

Kyle Lotzkar pitched six innings for Pensacola, he collected a hit and stole two bases, but the Wahoos fell to the Lookouts 4-2 snapping their three-game win streak. Billy Hamilton also stole two bases giving him 135 for the year. He's now 10 shy of the all-time single-season record.

On Saturday, circle the wagons for a Western themed postgame fireworks show presented by Highpointe Hotel Corporation. NASCAR driver and Pensacola native Johanna Long will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game.

During the game, two families of four will compete in the on-field Pack Your Bags promotion presented by the Pensacola International Airport and US Airways. The contestants will battle for the chance to win a trip for four to Cincinnati, including airfare and game tickets to see the Cincinnati Reds.

First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:00 p.m. at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium.
