Fighting Saints Announce Home Game Times for 2012-13 Season

DUBUQUE, Iowa -A day after releasing the 2012-13 regular season schedule, the Dubuque Fighting Saints have finalized times for home games during the upcoming season. The puck will drop on the 2012-13 season on Friday, September 28, 2012 vs. Tri-City at 7:35 p.m. from Mystique Community Ice Center. Dubuque will host 32 regular season games this season after the USHL expanded its schedule from 60 to 64 games for the 2012-13 campaign.
Friday home games will have a 7:35 p.m. start time this season, designed to allow fans more time to commute to the arena at the end of the traditional work week. Dubuque hosts a total of 15 home games on Fridays this season.
Saturday night games are scheduled for the traditional 7:05 p.m. puck drop this season. The Fighting Saints only have one home game on a Sunday during the 2012-13 campaign, as Team USA-17 visits the Mystique Community Ice Center on March 24, 2013. That game will be an afternoon contest with a 3:05 p.m. scheduled puck drop.
The Fighting Saints have three additional home games on weekdays this season, including a Wednesday contest the night before Thanksgiving. Dubuque hosts Muskegon on November 21, 2012, and that game will start at 7:35 p.m. The Fighting Saints also play at home on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 against Sioux City and Thursday, March 14, 2013 vs. Youngstown. Both of those games are slated for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop.
Individual game tickets go on sale in August. Season ticket packages for the 2012-13 season are available now.
