Today's Game : The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) meet the Peoria Chiefs (affiliate of the Chicago Cubs) in the second game of a three-game series.
Ryan Wright and his hitting streak : Wright's 17-game hitting streak came to an end last night (0 for 3). Over the course of the streak, Wright went 26 for 65, .400. His hitting streak was the longest for a Dayton player since 2009 and second longest in the league this season. It was also the third longest in Dragons history. The club record is 20, by Carlos Mendez in 2009. Cody Strait hit in 19 straight games in 2005.
