BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today DC101 Elliot in the Morning Night, featuring Elliot Segal Bobblehead Giveaway Wednesday, Aug. 1, as the Baysox take on the New Britain Rock Cats at 7:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans ages 18 and up receive the bobbling rendition of the popular morning talk show DJ, sponsored by Miss Utility. Come meet DC101's Elliot in the Morning Show and participate in a silent auction to benefit the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Items available through the silent auction include: baseballs signed by Brian Roberts, Manny Machado, Matt Wieters and Jonathan Schoop, tickets to Uproar Festival and various signed music memorabilia.

With the bobblehead, Elliot is enshrined with other local celebrities that have been honored with the collectibles, including Scott Garceau, Pat Sajak, Lindsay Czarniak and Scott Van Pelt. Elliot's likeness features the DJ in a black t-shirt featuring the Elliot in the Morning logo on the front and the Baysox script logo on the back. He is wearing khaki shorts and headphones are covering his ears. The figurine is featured standing on the lush, green grass of Prince George's Stadium.

Baysox Assistant General Manager Phil Wrye helped plan the event. "Elliot in the Morning has been one of the top radio shows in the DC area for years," Wrye said. "He has been the trademark voice helping people wake up in Washington, Maryland and Virginia from 5:48 until 10-something for more than 10 years and we are honored to present him with a long overdue bobbling tribute."

Elliot will be recognized before the game with an on-field ceremony and will throw out a ceremonial first pitch. During the game, he and the class will sign autographs and pose for photos on the concourse level of the stadium.

Tickets for DC101 Elliot in the Morning night can be ordered online at www.baysox.com. Order tickets online using the special offer code ELLIOT and $7 from every box seat ticket purchase will be donated to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
