Harrington Chosen to Represent Canada in Canada-Russia Challenge

LONDON, ONTARIO: London Knights Hockey Club is pleased to announce that defenseman Scott Harrington will represent Canada in the 2012 Canada-Russia Challenge in August, an event that replaces Canada's National Junior Team summer development camp for this season.A 2nd Round draft pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Harrington played in 63 games this past season for the Knights and was an integral part of the team's 2012 OHL Championship run. Having just finished his 3rd season in the OHL, Harrington was London's 1st Round pick in the 2009 OHL Priority Selection.
Canada's roster, comprised of three goaltenders, 10 defencemen and 15 forwards, will face off in four games against the Team Russia, two in Russia and two in Canada, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1972 Summit Series.
