Wahoos Come Back for Thrilling 7-5 Win

The Wahoos finished the series in exciting fashion in front of another sellout crowd at Pensacola Bayfront Stadium. Each of the five games sold out, making it the second series this year that has completely sold out, and the 18th sellout of the season.

After the game, the fans were able to enjoy some time on the field, as kids got to run the bases while all were welcome to throw in the outfield. Family Toss and Kids Run The Bases presented by McDonald's, completed a great Sunday at the bayfront stadium.

Down 3-0 for much of the game, the Blue Wahoos put together a string of hits and a late rally for the come from behind victory.

The bats came alive in the bottom of the fifth, fired up by the ejection of manager Jim Riggleman. The gap was closed to 3-2 after the inning and the fish kept it close into the late innings.

Pensacola Bayfront Stadium came to life when down 5-4 with two outs and two runners on in the bottom of the eighth inning CF Andrew Means hit a game changing home run over the Wind Creek sign in left-center field.

LHP Donnie Joseph came in for the save in the ninth, striking out the final batter to seal the 7-5 win for the Wahoos.
