BOISE, Idaho - The Boise Hawks and the Micron Foundation are partnering for Micron Math Nights - every home Tuesday game throughout the 2012 season.

On Micron Math Nights (July 17, July 24, July 31, August 14, August 28), kids will receive a free hot dog and Pepsi product for completing a short math quiz inside the free nightly program/scorecard. Every night a child completes the short math quiz inside the free scorecard (including Micron Math Nights), they will receive a ticket to a future Hawks game (Sunday-to-Thursday) when completed. Kids will also have the chance to enter a drawing to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at a future Hawks game.

"Education is the cornerstone to our community and the cornerstone to our next generation," said Boise Hawks president/general manager Todd Rahr. "Our partnership with the Micron Foundation will hopefully allow kids to have some fun at the ballpark in an educational setting and also learn a bit about the game of baseball."

The Hawks, in their 12th season as an affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, open up the 2012 Northwest League season on June 15 at Salem-Keizer, with their Memorial Stadium opener on June 20 against Eugene. Single-game tickets, along with season tickets, mini-packs, bonus books, and group nights for Hawks' games are available at the Hawks box office at Memorial Stadium, by calling (208) 322-5000, or online at www.boisehawks.com.
