Chukars Schedule Local Exhibition Game

The Idaho Falls Chukars are proud to announce their first ever exhibition game against the Idaho Falls Bandits, scheduled for June 15th.

The Bandits, formerly known as the Russets, are the premier AA American Legion team in Idaho Falls. The game will be the first of its kind, and will give fans a chance to see their local players take on the pros.

"I'm excited," said Chukars GM Kevin Greene. "This type of exhibition has never happened here before. I'm happy the Royals are allowing their professional athletes to play the local kids. It will be a great chance for our fans to see a fun game and help the American Legion to raise some funds."

All ticket proceeds from the contest will go towards the Idaho Falls American Legion program. The game will be run just like a regular season Chukars contest, complete with all normal food and drink options as well as on-field entertainment. Tickets for the contest start at just $5 for a general admission seat and fans can upgrade to a box seat for just $1 more. Children under 12 and seniors over 65 are just $3 for a GA seat.

The Chukars regular season kicks of on June 18th at Melaleuca Field against the Orem Owlz. Single game tickets go on sale June 1st.
