Blue Bombers Introduce 'Family Zone' at New Investors Group Field

WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Football Club has officially announced today that sections 116-121 are Family Sections in the new home of the Blue Bombers, Investors Group Field. Youth pricing will be available in these sections, which have been specifically designed to provide comfortable game day experiences for our younger patrons and families.

"We feel Blue Bomber fans have different wants and desires and our goal is to cater to as many different groups as possible. In this case, children 15 and under who are with a parent or guardian will receive their ticket at a discounted price," said President and CEO Garth Buchko.

With Investors Group Field slated to open in September, many great family activities have been planned in this zone.

The team also announced today that Section 118 at Investors Group Field offers an opportunity for fans to enjoy the game in a no alcohol section.

"The no-alcohol section is unique in this province and we will be the only professional sports franchise in Manitoba to offer this opportunity, but again, it is another way for some of our fans who would gravitate to this type of situation to enjoy the game comfortably," said President and CEO Garth Buchko. "While we also soon plan to introduce sections of Investors Group Field that will cater to a noisier type atmosphere, we feel it is very important to offer both sides of the spectrum."
