Winnipeg Blue Bombers News Release
WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Football Club has offered the following statement on reports of damage at Investors Group Field due to high winds last night.
"We have been made aware of the wind damage at our new stadium site and have been informed that it occurred to our Administration building and not to the actual stadium itself," said President and CEO Garth Buchko. "While this may affect the timing of moving our business side into the new stadium due to repairs to the building, this will not set us back in our plan to open September 21st, or with best circumstances, September 9th."
