Timber Rattlers and Kernels Rained out on Sunday

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers will have to wait a day to try to extend their current hot streak. Sunday's Midwest League Game between the Timber Rattlers and the Cedar Rapids Kernels at Time Warner Cable Field has been postponed. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Monday.

Tickets for Sunday's game may be exchanged for any 2012 regular season Timber Rattlers game at Time Warne Cable Field, based on availability. Fans with tickets for Monday's game may use those tickets for both games of the doubleheader.

Wisconsin and Cedar Rapids will play a pair of seven inning games on, Monday, May 7. The first game of the doubleheader is scheduled to begin at 5:05pm. There will be thirty minutes between the end of the first game and the start of the second game. Gates to the stadium will open at 3:30pm. The Rattlers will enter Monday's twinbill on a six-game winning streak and in first place in the Western Division of the Midwest League.

The scheduled starting pitchers for the Timber Rattlers are Andy Moye (1-0, 2.11) in game one and Matt Miller 91-3, 5.28) in game two. The Kernels will counter with Cam Bedrosian (0-0, 0.00) in the first game. Austin Wood (2-2, 3.67) is set to start the nightcap for Cedar Rapids. Cam Bedrosian is the son of Steve Bedrosian, the 1987 NL Cy Young Award winner.
